Fortress Clinical Laboratory provides a comprehensive diagnostic testing service for client samples, and operates Quality Management Systems to integrate the organisation, procedures, processes, and resources.
The Management of Fortress Clinical Laboratory are committed to the expansion and continuous improvement of its service through meeting the needs of clients and ensuring integrity of laboratory methods. To reinforce this commitment, Fortress Clinical Laboratory operate Quality Systems which conform to the requirements of ISO 17025: 2017. The Management of Fortress Clinical Laboratory ensure that the commitment of this Quality Policy is communicated and understood by all personnel.
User needs and requirements:
- Setting up Quality Objectives and plans in order to implement this Quality Policy
- Ensuring that all personnel are familiar with this Quality Policy to ensure user satisfaction
- Upholding professional values and be committed to good professional practice and conduct
- Understanding our client’s requirements and fulfilling them
We are committed to:
- Recruitment, training, and development of testing personnel to provide and fulfil an effective service to the client
- The collection, transport, and handling of all specimens in such a way to ensure correct performance of laboratory examinations
- Producing accurate and authentic reports which are timely, confidential, and clinically useful
- Continual review of impartiality and conflicts of interest of testing personnel and management
- Maintaining confidentiality throughout all aspects of the service
- Annual review of Quality Policy and Management System
We shall monitor the following Quality Objectives:
- Customer Satisfaction
- Training development and accountability of testing personnel
- Accuracy of test results in comparison with other testing laboratories
- Accuracy of Internal Quality Control
- Efficient and timely testing, and if testing has been in accordance with the requirements of International and company quality standards
- Efficient and timely reports
